Ultrasonic Level Meter installation precautions:

When the probe reaches the liquid level, it will be reflected back to the probe. After receiving the probe, the probe will calculate the time from the wave to the receive wave to obtain the measurement distance. The installation height TH minus the measurement distance L will get the current level.

Meter range refers to the instrument can measure the distance, the installation height TH should be less than the range.

Instrument blind area refers to the instrument near the probe can not be measured in the region, the highest level and the probe spacing should be greater than the blind spot, the blind area is 0.3m, the maximum level and probe spacing must be greater than 0.3m.

Wave probe is a proliferation process, that is, the direction of angle, the installation time to pay attention, or may hit the pool wall bump or channel edge.

Installation principle

1) The distance from the probe launch surface to the lowest level should be less than the range of the optional instrument.

2) The distance from the probe launch surface to the highest level should be greater than the dead zone of the optional instrument.

3) The emitting surface of the probe should be parallel to the surface of the liquid.

4) The installation position of the probe should be avoided as far as it goes below, the discharge port and other sharp fluctuations in the location of the liquid level.

5) If the wall of the tank or tank is not smooth, install the meter at a distance of 0.3m above the tank wall or tank wall.

6) If the distance from the probe launch surface to the highest level is less than the blind spot of the optional instrument, an extension tube shall be installed. The extension tube diameter is more than 120mm and the length is 0.35m ~ 0.50m. Vertical installation, smooth inner wall, Greater than the inner diameter of the extension tube. Or pass the pipe to the tank bottom, pipe diameter greater than 80mm, the bottom of the hole to keep the tube extension of the tube surface and the tank contour.

Installation Precautions

1) It is suggested to install the sun visor for outdoor installation of the instrument to prolong the service life of the instrument.

2) wire, cable protection tube, pay attention to sealing to prevent water.

3) Although the instrument itself has a lightning protection device, when the instrument is used in the Doraemon region, it is recommended to install a special lightning protection device on the inlet and outlet of the instrument.

4) When the instrument is used in a hot or cold place, it is recommended to install anti-high and low temperature devices around the liquid level gauge when the ambient temperature may exceed the working requirements of the instrument.
